He’s the charity’s longest-standing supporter and their first ever Patron.

And Ronnie Wood, 71, was naturally in attendance at the Tusk Conservation Awards 2018 in London on Thursday night, accompanied by his glamorous wife Sally, 40.

The Rolling Stones rocker, who has been a Patron of the charity since 1991, beamed with delight as he attended the event, held in association with Investec Asset Management at Banqueting House.

Ronnie looked dapper in a smart suit, adding a rock ‘n’ roll edge to the look thanks to a skinny tie.

Sally was dressed to impress in a slinky green dress with a halterneck style and tear-drop cut-out at the bust.

The elegant number boasted a subtle side-split and a crossover neckline, set off with a glamorous updo and a red lip.

The couple were in excellent company at the event – joined by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

His Royal Highness became Royal Patron of Tusk in December 2005. The Duke has actively supported the charity’s work both privately and publicly on many occasions and recently visited Tusk projects in Namibia and Tanzania.

For almost thirty years, Tusk has pioneered successful conservation action in Africa by protecting wildlife, empowering communities and advancing the frontline in the fight against the illegal wildlife trade.

The annual Tusk Conservation Awards celebrate the achievements of extraordinary people, whose work protecting Africa’s natural heritage might otherwise go unnoticed outside their fields.

Upon arrival at Banqueting House, Their Royal Highnesses will attend a reception to meet the award nominees, Tusk supporters and sponsors.
